I moved to Asheville in 2011 and immediately felt 'the Magic of the Mountains'. Asheville is one of those places that you can continually discover, making it feel like a vacation everyday.  Maybe that's why so many people move here seeking a big life change - to heal their heart, soul, and bodies.

For more about the history of Asheville and the city's roots in travel and hospitality check out my book, Historic Inns of Asheville, published by Arcadia Publishing, and available at local bookstores or online here. It includes almost two hundred photographs of Asheville, from the first downtown hotels with stage coach parking and livestock boarding, to the motor inns on Tunnel Road.

I love working with print advertisers and social media to promote local businesses in the amazing city of Asheville, N.C.

I have written for many local publications including the Laurel of Asheville, Food Life magazine, WNC Woman magazine, and the Biltmore Beacon, as well as the online book marketplace based out of Asheville Biblio.com

You are going to love it here,

Amy
